The dreaded group project. Why? Because success in today's workplace requires the ability to work in teams. Employers want to hire people who can work together to accomplish a goal.

In my courses, each group has a project manager, who will be responsible for the timely completion and quality of the project. And each group member gets the same grade. Is this always fair? No. Will free-riders sometime receive unearned points? Yes. And that's how it goes. Just like at work.
